Several of the supporting dancers stood out, particularly Sasha Shevsok, as the famous toreador Espada, who showed strength and athleticism as he darted around the stage, artfully wielding his cape in a bullfighting scene in the first act. In a hot pink dress, Shira Ezuz, as the tavern dancer Mercedes, delivered a fiery flamenco dance in the second act.
